Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of them, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

What that means in practice

Amazon pays us a small percentage of the order value when someone reaches Amazon through a link on this site and buys something. The price you pay is identical either way — the commission comes out of Amazon’s margin, not out of your pocket.

How we choose what to recommend

We recommend gear we would tell a friend to buy. No brand has paid for placement on this site, and no brand has been given the ability to review or approve anything written here. Where we think an accessory is a waste of money, we say so — the gear page has a section listing what we deliberately left off and why.

We do not list prices, because prices change constantly and a stale number on a page is worse than no number at all. Follow the link to see what something actually costs today.

Our own products

RotorCards Essentials and RotorCards Pro are our own products — we keep the full revenue from those. They are clearly ours throughout the site, and they contain no affiliate links of any kind.
