Guide updates

Every RotorCards guide carries a version number, a date, and the firmware and app build it was written against — on every page. DJI versions its own manuals; a guide to a versioned document should be versioned too. This page is the current state of all of them.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro

v1.1 · August 2026

Essentials & Pro · written against DJI Fly, 2026 firmware

Added the recommended-gear reference page.

DJI Mini 5 Pro

v1.0 · August 2026

Essentials & Pro · Letter, A5 kneeboard and mobile · written against aircraft FW v01.00.0600 / DJI Fly v1.21.0 / user manual v1.0 (2025.12.10)

First release. Ships in three formats at no extra cost: US Letter, A5 for a kneeboard clip, and a phone edition whose links are tappable rather than QR codes — you cannot scan a QR code with the phone that is displaying it.

DJI Air 3S

v1.0 · August 2026

Essentials & Pro · Letter, A5 kneeboard and mobile · written against aircraft FW V01.00.1700 / DJI Fly v1.21.8 / user manual v1.0 (2026.04)

First release. Covers both cameras, the forward LiDAR, and the FocusTrack tracking envelope DJI publishes but almost nobody quotes. Note that DJI never increments this manual past v1.0 — only the date changes — so the date is the version that matters.

Re-downloading

Your confirmation page link stays live — bookmark it and you can pull the current version any time. If you have lost it, email hello@rotorcards.com from the address you paid with and we will send a fresh link the same day.

What we promise

Free updates for as long as we cover that aircraft. Not “lifetime” — that is an unbounded promise on a $15 product and we would rather make one we can keep. DJI moves menus and adds modes with firmware; when that happens we revise the guide, bump the version, and you re-download it at no cost.
